Do you guys get calls like this? I get a call like this once or twice a day. Apparently people seem to think that something as huge as facebook, can be done for a couple thousand bucks. EVERY DAY! Who wants these leads?? LOL.

    Development wise, $2000 is chump change.

    Using a script(free) plus the design($2000) might work haha.

    Facebook development alone is in the multi-millions, and YouTube is right on up towards the billions.

    I actually just refer people to free options when they don't have realistic expectations. For example, Ning let's you create a personal social network kind of like FB. Then maybe they'll come back for customization work down the road for the advice. Not my businesss model, but could be a good way to convert potential clients into paying customers down the road for the advice you gave.
