Place to buy video snippets?

I want to create several niche videos and am looking for a good source for video snippets such as someone answering a phone, reading a book, looking discouraged, smiling on the phone, a doctor talking to a patient, etc. The ones I've found are $50 - $200 for a snippet (iStockPhoto, Getty, Pond5, Shutterstock).

Does anyone have any other good sources for royalty free snippets?

Thanks,

Mark.

If you have more time, you can find video snippets over the internet. But, you have to look more for this. Here is a source for downloading free snippets

    Stock Footage for Free

You may not find the snippets you are looking for in one source if you are looking for free snippets as in premium service. You can take a look at here or can google it for exact video you are looking for.

I usually buy footage for my clients and include it in my prices. For those who can't afford video, I go with using still images and use moves and transitions to breath some life into the images.

You can also check creative commons for free clips.

Art colleges could be a good source for cheap content. Call the career center and say you need some content for your business that you can license from students. I bet some film students would love to shoot some custom footage for a reasonable price.

Personally I think making videos yourself is the productive way. However many of us do not have enough time for that... For myself I usually look for cheap motion graphics online to save time. There are many sites out there but I personally find this one to be the easiest, because of its wide selections.

I hope you will find them helpful!
