New To Offline Marketing & Have Some Questions

First off thanks for taking the time to answer my questions! I have a couple questions im hoping some of you can help me out with.

1. If you do Facebook ads for a client, how do you charge them and price it?

2. When it comes to posting on your clients Facebook or Twitter, how do you get the information on what your going to post or do you just make it up?

3. Do any of you do Craigslist ads for your customers? If so, what do you usually charge for something like that?

4. Im looking at offering Facebook Fan pages, Twitter Pages, Mobile Sites, Wordpress websites, SMS messaging, QR codes, some print advertising. Any other ideas of good services to offer to small businesses (most businesses in my area are under 10 employees type of businesses)

Thanks for all the help again!

    I can only answer #3.

I charge $35/week for 4 ads 3X a week. I do this very rarely, usually in combination with a website, for a landscaper for example.

It's a real pain to do CL because competitors flag your ads and you have to keep altering them slightly and putting them back up. Then there's the ghosting thing.

If you're new to offline marketing, I would start by focusing on offering just one or two services to begin with. Master them and then move on to other services. You'll be recognized as being an expert in a certain field, instead of just being OK with different services.

I think it's great that you want to offer so many services, but if your not careful you may end up stretching yourself too much, to early.

It may be an idea to provide a service that will provide you with recurring income, such as renting out wordpress sites for clients for example, so you can quit your job quicker and have more time to learn and implement other marketing tatics.

      Best of luck!

Here is my opinion on how to handle pricing on below questions.

    1. If you do Facebook ads for a client, how do you charge them and price it?

This service is normally included in a complete Social Media Marketing Package. If I was to price separately I would charge $250 to $500 monthly, depending on size of the account.

    2. When it comes to posting on your clients Facebook or Twitter, how do you get the information on what your going to post or do you just make it up?

I ask my clients to provide content (articles, videos, blogs) and if they don't, I charge an extra fee to produce content for them. Also use RSS Feeds.

    3. Do any of you do Craigslist ads for your customers? If so, what do you usually charge for something like that?

Yes, maintaining a Craigslist Ads can be time consuming as well. Same as Facebook Ads, $250 to $500 per month, depending on how often you post.

    4. Im looking at offering Facebook Fan pages, Twitter Pages, Mobile Sites, Wordpress websites, SMS messaging, QR codes, some print advertising. Any other ideas of good services to offer to small businesses (most businesses in my area are under 10 employees type of businesses)

Video Marketing, Setting up Lead Generation Landing Pages and Sales Funnels, Mobile Applications for Andriod/iPhone, Google+, LinkedIn Marketing to name a few others.

    About the #2 question...

Usually you would create a Google Alert for their keywords that picks up any content on the interwebs that would relate to their industry and just pick the good, helpful, interesting stuff and either just post links directly to those articles or you can curate them on your own site and post links to their website.
