Pizza Box Advertising Pricing

So i know that around 290 dollars per ad would be ideal if you have 10-12 ads on the box. But what about when you have half of the ad just for one company. Also, i have seen some pictures online that have only 4 ads on a pizza box. How much would you charge for this. Would you have to increase your prices, since you have less businesses appearing on the ad.

i currently do this right now but we dont do it on the box, we do the flyers they attach to the box. What we do is get 10,000 flyers and tell the pizza place their menu and stuff will be the entire one side and they get thers for free. Then on the back side we put between 8-10 businesses and charge $115 + $15 design fee for business card size and $199 for double business card size. It cost us about $400 to print the 10,000 flyers and then make about $1000+ selling the ads so a net profit of around $600 for each pizza place we sign up. Hope that helps.

I was talking about attaching the fliers to the box. So the 8-10 business ads go on the back of the flier. Then one side has the pizza place you are doing correct. So businesses won't mind if there ad is placed on the back of the flier. Most of the ads i have seen, have the pizza place in the middle and the 10-12 businesses on the side. But that does help me get a better idea of what to do.

Yah we just do it the pizza place gets 1 entire side, and then on the side we split that up for businesses. We dont pay the pizza place at all, they just get their flyers printed for free.

I've been doing this for over 2 yrs and I get $290 on front side (12 Ads)and $190 on back (8 ads)

When I started, I put the pizza menu on back. Don't need to anymore. I also give each of the 20 advertisers 50 flyers to give to their customers.

I've done 18 editions thus far and have taught 6 others how to do this.

I am trying to picture this one, this is the first time i have heard about putting 20 ads on a pizza box flyer. Are you ads small when you do that many. Do you put the pizza place in the middle for the front of the flier, then put 12 ads all around the center ad of the pizza place. The backside of the flyer also has 8 ads on it. Do the companies who do the backside mind being on the back, i know most would prefer on being on the front of the flier.

I understand now, the pizza place gets one full side of the flier. Then the other side has the 8-10 businesses on it.

I've noticed that the coupon stuffer envelopes I've been receiving over the past 4-6 months have hardly any coupons in them. Seems advertisers are pulling back with the economy.

I'd assume this cutback on advertising also affects pizza box flyers.

Not for "US" who "Know" how to "Sell" and pitch "Benefits" to our prospects.

This sound like a great Idea. I need to look into it. When you tell the pizza place that they get one side free, is it a done deal? or do you need to pick it harder?

He means that the service contractor should be delighted to lay out $300 (the average cost for one of these programs) and get $1000 in profit. That means an ROI of 333% most businesses could do well with that all day long. If he got that over 6 months it means people really hung onto that flyer from the pizza. Remember for a service contractor it is Top Of Mind advertising and it clearly worked.

These flyers look familiar are they similar to the placemats advertising you see in restaurants and bus ops for your area to do.Their print software would ideally work no!

Blatant self-promotion other than in the paid advertising areas is against the forum rules, but seems to be generally ignored in the Offline Forum. People are going to find themselves banned if they don't restrain themselves.

Hmm, I wonder what it cost to do those cool, eye popping, customized pizza boxes...and how they got major corporations to do business with them....?
