OFFLINE MARKETING

I have recently had a client ask me to create a squeeze page for them similar to this

It is the video clip of the caricature. Does anybody know where to find this or would it have to be created from scratch. I am thinking there must be a site to upload your content you want it to say as it sounds very computerized

Personally I think its crap and should be a real person but what the customer wants the customer gets.

That's an "illustrated character" and has been perpetrated by a company called oddcast.

Yea. Pretty sure this is from a product called videogoround. There site is videogoround.com I have to say maybe not the best idea for a squeeze page. Maybe you should talk the customer into split testing. I agree with "whatever the customer wants". However sometimes you need to steer the customer to the right choice for his own good. Of course, depending on the product or sevice, the character might work pretty well. You can't always tell what the public is going to like. That's why they invented split testing. Good luck.

As Orangu says this is from Oddcast.com the product is 3D VideoStar

Basically the person can either use the standard model or upload a photo which then renders a face and lip syncs to a recording or your choice. You are also able to control the way the model looks and eyes move.

I would steer clear of this for squeeze pages. An emailing list owner should try to build as much of a relationship with that list as possible and using this takes away some of the personalty which a live person could portray. If your client is camera shy you can easily get someone to do a decent job of translating a pre written script in video for not much money at all.

Do you need help with the Squeeze Page itself or just the video side of things?

  Thanks to everyone who contributed. I will look over the sites and see which is going to be best for my clients needs.
  
  I will be having a chat with today so see what happens. I still believe as most of you do that it would be more beneficial for my client to create his own video.
  
  Thanks for the nod briancandy7. It was just really finding where to get this caricature video done. When my client first wanted a load of squeeze pages created I tried to suggest using Optimize Press them but he is not sure.
  
  He now wants a site creating as well as squeeze pages so what was looking at a simple squeeze page is looking to turning into a larger one

That's a SitePal character! In fact SitePal uses that EXACT character themselves.
