How do you do Google Places for the Rent-a-site model?

Im curious how fellow Warriors use Google Places for the rent-a-site business model. Im kind of confused with it. I know with rent-a-site you basically create a generic site say about dentist. Then you seo that site to some local keywords and then rent the site. So when it comes to google places how do you do this if the person renting the site will be different?

Do you use your own personal address?

Thanks!

You can use a UPS store box. But I would be wary gaining good serp through a merged or places listing and selling that to another client who is going to change the name of the business, address, phone, etc...

You can still rank a site without a places page, but if the keyword is dominated by merged listings younhave to be 1 or 2 to get serious traffic. Just do your research and pick non maps heavy keywords then sell them your Google places setup services when they rent your site. Their places listing + your high authority site will get better overall results and you make more $. If they decide to stop paying just take the url off their profile and go to the next one.

If you do this, only build citations with name address phone, skip the url so you can move the site to another client of you need to.

So to answer your question...UPS store

Thanks for the info! So your basically saying its better to target all the keywords that dont have a google places listing. Once im #1 or #2 on those, then sell to the business, get them a google places listing which ill feed the rest of the pages i created. Then if they back out, i still have the sites and can rent to a new company and then start all over with getting them a google places listing.

    Hope thats right, thanks again!
