New innovation ideas about companies and marketers!

I am marketer for over 10 years and I have always been trying to understand better my employees and customers in order to offer them the best product and service. We created an innovation platform, where people can post rough ideas, work as freelancers to develop them in ready concepts and sell them to companies. Also you can post challenges for the crowd.
Coca Coca has a similar one on Embrioo ( an innovation platform) : embrioo.com
and Dell has their own innovation site called IdeaStorm - . I think this is the future of marketing and I would like to know what is yours opinion about sharing and selling your ideas? Do you think that interacting is the best way to understand your customers needs and get fresh ideas from the crowd?

As a business collecting new ideas it sounds great - as long as you have an agreement in place about the user relinquishing all intellectual property rights.

As a person with many ideas, I would never in a million years use a site like this. One of the worst things you can do as an inventor/developer/idea creator is to share your ideas with others. Once your idea is out there (provided it's any good), someone with the resources and capital WILL steal it.

I do not think so...Only people, who are eligible, can see your idea, also, When you post idea on embrioo for example, the potential buyer can see only a demo version, nothing else, unless he pays you or agrees to the terms...Everything is done to protect the idea generator's rights!

The same is with Idea storm site, made by Dell!
