Any Camtasia Buffs?? appreciate any help!

Hello Warriors,

I am making a screenshot video for a client and all I want to do is add an image (photo) of myself in the bottom of the screen. Just a static photo.

I am sure Camtasia can do this but I am at a loss.

Any ideas??

Thanks a bunch.

Karen.

    Yes, Camtasia can do this.

After you've made the screenshot recording, go into Camtasia to edit it. Import the picture of yourself (good idea to crop it closely before importing it). In the clip bin, right-click that picture. This brings up a little menu. Choose Add to -> PIP video. This creates a new track with your picture. Stretch out the picture to last the duration of the video, edit the position as desired, etc.

    It's a pretty cool effect!

    Hi Karen,

Here's a way to get this done. When you open your project and then drag your video down on the time line so you can edit it. Click the Callouts icon and scroll down to the very bottom and you will see picture icon. Click that and then find the image that you want to use.

Now go to to your timeline/storyboard at the botttom and find the Callout image you added, extend it out the duration of your video or however long you want it to show.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need a video walking you through it.

You can easily do that using the watermark feature.
