Twitter sms vs open vbx vs white label service

I am looking for opinions on what a client actually needs or what you can actually offer a client.

If you have a client that just needs basic text messaging for offering a promotion or a coupon is there any need to have anything more complicated than using the twitter sms system.

if you are not using sms for some kind of appointment reminder service is there any reason for using anything else. If you think there are other reasons for using open vbx or another service please give me your thoughts and opinions on why you would use another service.

Thanks

I'm curious also. The appointment reminders are something I'm really looking for.

Well, I have a white label, branded with it's own logo as it's own "entity", on my own domain.

I am building a brand under my company and positioning my company as the go to mobile solution in my city, and more to come in the future. Then we up sell various services if need be as marketing consultants.

Our logo on the outside of bars/clubs/restraunts/spas means they also run our "text club" (not in for self promotion), which further will build our brand.

We are thinking scalability and long term - I can sit in front of a decision maker and show him how he can figure out his customer demographic, for instance, using my platform. (bars could separate out males and females through SMS). I can show him how the more text he runs through my "text" platform, the cheaper the text get for him.

I can show a restaurant how they can do away with the silly paper comments, and have a campaign through my platform that is more of an "open forum" for feedback.

I can set up other people with an SMS business and train them.

These are some of the things that I can do as a white-labeled reseller: I own it.

I started with twilio / open vbx, while cool, you are limited on your options and the time to manage that is insane and not worth it, and to make it do what we want, would take us forever.

twitter sms seems like a cool foot in the door to position your self as a marketing expert and will really build a level of trust with a client, and help them increase their sales.
