Using your Outsourcers' Testimonials/Proof

Let's say that you hire outsourcers to do web design, seo, google places, etc. for your clients.

When it comes time to create your own website to offer your packages, is it considered to be in poor taste to use the samples, proof, testimonials from your outsourcers on your own website?

I do use outsourcers sometimes, but I have never considered using their testimonials.

Should you ask the outsourcer for permission first before you use their testimonials?

Yeah, I'd say ask for their permission first.

Other then that, you're not misleading your prospect in anyway, those are the same results the client can expect to get.

I see no problem in the outsourcers eyes since it's bringing him business as well.

I always use my outsourcers portfolio, as I'm constantly building his, bringing in new clients.

    It's a mutual relationship.

    Thanks,

    James

      Agreed

      Ask them first.

When I first started I did use some of the outsources portfolio to land new clients but never used the testimonials. I just got my own testimonials really fast by offering a free service that only took me like 5-10 minutes to complete.

Works like magic to get quick testimonials.

Okay, so if you are using an outsourcer to design fan pages, for example, you would put samples of their work on your website?

Not saying you specifically, I mean in general. Just wanted to be clear.
