Facebook Ad campaign for client

Hi all

A client has asked for me to set up a FB ad campaign for her business. Although I have done these for myself I am stuck on how to charge for this.

Please can anyone who has done this before give me some tips.

Do I just ask the client how much they want to spend daily and then just add on my fees for setting it all up.

Also how do you usually do it regarding payment to FB. Do you get the client to pay direct or shall I do it it to hide costs.

Any advice because this is my first FB client.

Many thanks

Darren

Depends if this is one off or an ongoing monthly campaign. Many people would charge a 15 to 20 percent management fee for this service if someone is committed to spending say $500 or more per month.
If it is one off or they want to learn to do themselves then charge hourly rate to set up once and teach them how to do.
They should ideally set up their own account and pay for the advertising directly to Facebook. UNLESS you want to put yourself into a reseller position where you markup the cost, if they are spending smaller amounts you can make a good markup and still provide value because FB ads are still fairly inexpensive, expecially on cpm basis.
HOw you charge for services really has alot to do with how they want to set things up and how much they plan on spending per month and how you are positioning yourself to them.
