I am the owner of a moving company in Chicago with a very good google rankings. However I am looking to pick the brains of the forum members here on what might be some offline marketing opportunities.

We are located in Chicago and specialize in residential and commercial household goods moving.

Video marketing works well for moving, especially education videos to help build your brand. I have done this before in your industry and a found it to be a good strategy to add value to your customers.

Do you also market your business offline? What offline marketing strategies do you do?

A sure fire way of increasing your business is to speak to estate agents in your area.

Offer them an attractive commission for succesful referrals, which means you might want to bump your prices up a bit, and I doubt many will turn your offer down. You could create an offer:

"X% Discount for customers of Brown and Son Estate Agents"

That way, you can have every agent in the area recommending your services every time without you having to spend any money.

Someone here (on this section of the forum) mentioned using noticeboards. Post your flier or business card on noticeboards around town. It's simple but effective.

Another potential source of clients could be senior communities and senior centers. Much like the estate agents, you could set up a commission table or other incentive to get them to send potential move-ins your way.

Might also check college community boards and offer group bundles. Those that stay in the dorms during the semester and move back in with their parents during vacations could get together a few rooms and fill a truck for a discount.
