Help with Marketing Strategy for Shooting Range

I'm looking at a new client for SEO,Social Media and Web design.
Their business is a gun range.I already have ideas on what I'm going to do but I would love to hear any thoughts that you might have on promotion and other things that could help their business

    Some well placed and researched signs. Adwords. Ask what kind of marketing has worked for them before and build on it.

    Just like any other product, there is a group of people that need their service. Just find out who that typically is, how that group usually receives offers and put a a timely offer in front of them. Perhaps flyer's worked, store cards, anything as long as it is reaching very precisely the people they are 'targeting'.

    Also, if they have a website, get some analytics data from it...especially keywords and time on site (pages).
