Setting up a several local sites in one market, but I would like to establish each wordpress site in a test site first for developers on oDesk. So here is my newbie question:

Question for a Warrior:
Can I setup multiple wordpress themes on the same test domain, each theme being in a different folder:
- mysite.com/plumber
- mysite.com/carpenter
- mysite.com/etc

Then, once the developer creates the site on each folder I will use backup buddy to transfer the site to a new indexable domain:

- mysite.com/plumber backed up to sacramentoplumber.com

Does this make sense? Please poke holes, give advice, or suggest a better methodology for what should be simple once I understand the process.
