Covert Homepage to Wordpress?

A client asked me to convert just his home page to Wordpress. Does this make any sense? I have no idea how to answer this.

Thanks again

Assuming he / she wants to convert the site over to wordpress, that is quite easily do-able. The client probably wants the ability to modify the site content themselves.

Most competent coders should be able to get it done for you quite quickly. Try odesk.com and you should be able to find someone to do the job pretty easily

That's the thing, he only wants the home page to be Wordpress. I have no idea why. He wants the home page for now, possibly the entire thing down the line.

Upon further inspection, his site has 753 indexed pages.

Have you designed the website yourself? What is he looking for exactly on the homepage? Squeezepage?

No, it's actual a POTENTIAL client, my bad.

It's a dental training website, I guess. A ton of scientific education (WAY over my head). Tuition is $3,145 (audit Fee: $1,575). Sounds like he has the $

Sounds like a squeezepage will go well for this site if he hasn't got one

No, it doesn't make sense. AT ALL.

An HTML to worpress, joomla or drupal would make sense. Making only the home page a wordpress install and linking to the remainder of the website as the html version, makes no sense whatsoever. I have had a couple people request this for joomla and drupal, but it is usually because they think its going to be cheaper, and better. It just makes no sense.

Yea, it looks like he wants the home page converted to Wordpress and then he'll handle the rest.

As I said before, this site has 753 indexed pages. He also has 5-10 blogspot blogs linking in/out of the main site. I have no idea who instructed him on doing it this way. I have a feeling I'll be getting a call in a week asking for help. I just don't see someone that would be able to convert everything over without the savvy skills us Warriors have.

Truth be told, I would have no idea on how to do this, but I know someone who can

      And that's all that matters
