adobe contribute vs. wordpress

I have a client that is ready to go on a project. My outsourcer quoted me a price. Yesterday afternoon she emailed me back agreeing to everything. This morning, she told me what all she needed in the contract. Talking to one of her boutique friends, they have convinced her to go with Adobe Contribute. Outsourcer is raising my price $100 to go with it. Not sure if I can raise my client $100.


What do you think about the difference.

    Adobe has some great products, and I'm sure that contribute will be great as well. The thing is that Adobe products are top of the line and very expensive compared to other software that is comparable.

    What were her reasons that her friends have convinced her to go with Contribute?

    If you know what the reasons are, I'm sure that there are plenty of ways that you can overcome those with wordpress.
