Has anyone invested in an ad on one of those informercial TV channels? I know our cable company has a whole section on their channel for various ads but I don't know if it's worth it.

An entire infomercial would be too expensive for most of us. If it's running in the middle of the night, I assume it would be a lot less because the viewership is lower during that time. What about several businesses offering complementary products working on a marketing campaign like this together? That could make it more feasible for anyone on a smaller budget.

I know there are some channels that just put your ad up for a certain amount of time.

Eddie-did you get any business from it?

So are you talking about running an infomercial or just a commercial during the infomercials?

Yes but it was not a profitable campaign. I didnt know a lot of things about generating response that I do now and I could have gotten a better price if I understood the medium better at the time. I was mainly just gun ho to test and to get on TV because I didnt know what else to do.

Starting a Cable TV channel is probably the hardest channel to start, but it very lucrative. Cable companies can only carry so many cable channels to their subscribers. So they only carry the most popular because they are collecting a fee from their customer and want to keep them satisfied with the most popular channels.
