Some may remember, around 6-8 months ago, I got really big into the idea of Offline Consulting. Especially the SEO part since it was for easy to rank words.
Anyway, I made a local site for my main city (plus surrounding areas) and through a little BMR and LinkMarket action, I just hit #1-2 for "Web Design City, ST".
It only gets 16 hits a month according to Google but in the past 2 weeks, I've gotten 2 calls for web design which is converting to around $2,000 and I'm outsourcing all the work.
I'd long lost interest in offline consulting but I felt if I just ranked my local site for some local related keywords, that maybe it would have been all worth it. Well now, my head is slowly getting back into the game.
