State wide directory question
I have been giving lots of thought to the directory site model. Seems like most are going with city+niche. What about a state wide directory. Since I own a carpet cleaning biz lets look at nycarpetcleanersdotcom as a directory. Now I know that most potential customer will type in city+carpet cleaner. There also LOTS of cities in the state of NY so would it be possible to get this done and ranked well. Obviously you couldn't have a page for every city in NY. Just thinkin here - ya know!
