How do I fix old citations with wrong NAP info?

I used to be in the A slot in the places listing a few years ago but have since fallen to E. I think one of the causes is that I have citations with old address. I have moved twice since creating some of the first citations. Also some citations have a slightly different variation of business name. I realize these inconsistencies are hurting my ranking and I need to fix it. The problem is that i don't have access to the email address that was used to log into these citation site so I'm unable to update my NAP at those citations sites.

What can I do? Do I create brand new citations at said sites? I will then have 2 different listing at merchant circle for example. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Try to create accounts at the sites that have the incorrect information and then change it. If you can't do that just contact that sites support and ask to have the incorrect citation removed or updated.

Then continue to create accurate citations elsewhere.

I created a new account at yellowbot but was not allow to edit the existing profile. I call yellowbot and the rep said I need to sign in using the email that was use to create the profile. Guess I'm SOL with that one.

Just send them an official letter from the company requesting a take down of the profile. I've had them removed, sometimes its easy. Sometimes not, it depends on the site.
