Need a call to action for cemetery plots sales

A friend of mine has been a funeral director for many years and just shifted gears and is now selling cemetery plots. He went out and got a local guy to make him a flier. Of course, it just states the name of the cemetery and his name no CTA or benefits statements.

I want to help him and redesign the flier for free. So, I'm looking for any good CTAs that might work for him.

I am also thinking of starting a Bob Ross style shared Postcard and I thought that if I help him out now he might try a spot on the card.

Any good Ideas?

Yes, by the way, I AM in the Witness Protection Program. I could tell you who I am but then I would have to kill you.

Keep in mind that Cemetary Plots are NOT an emotional buy. Flyers/Ads should be straight and to the point and without gimmicery.

Cemetary Plot/Final Resting Place sales are more often done by phone. I know I wouldnt take it kindly if I found a flier like that on my Door!

    On a lighter note...

Get a sign shaker to wear a Grim Reaper Costume and shake a sign that says "Hurry In! Get one before I get you!!" lol

First of all it's spelled CEMETERY

Cemetery property, either pre-need or at-need is very much an emotional sale. The manner in which the presentation needs to be directed is where it becomes different.

Cemetery propery is NEVER sold on the phone. Cemetery's have two distinct sales divisions. Pre-need and at-need. The distinction should be obvious.

Pre-need sales departments will usually have a phone room which sets appointments and a sales team that sells the property in home. The CTA in most instances is a free space for having the courtesy to view the presentation.

Cemetery property sales is quite complex in the number and types of properties that can be sold. The most common call to action used in "flyers" or other types of advertising is a give away called a family estate planning guide.

You can find that and other things of that nature at the ACA website.

      Hope that helps.

I do know the spelling...just type faster than I think sometimes! lol

As for it not being sold by phone? Perhaps I should have clarified...you can look in help wanted sections online and in the paper and there are always ads for telemarketers to set appointments...I wasnt referring to closing over the phone...just finding the prospects.

The Term "Emotional Sale" was meant as people don't get Excited over that type of sale.

It's like the difference between buying a new Car or buying Life Insurance.

Oh, and Last of all its spelled "PROPERTY, not "PROPERY"!

Admit it! You had that one comin! lol
