Hi warriors,

I have been busy building social sites for the last year. I have over 50 set up and ready to go. I want to rent them out, but now sure how I would go about this? Would it be a hard sale? Or do you think local businesses want these social sites?
Instead of trying all the renting out, should I just contact local rental properties and see if they want to sub contract some of the sites to their lists?

Thanks for the input

It's like a community site. I build it with alot of features depending on the type of site. IE car site, users can make lists of favorite cars ect. shopping sites, users can purchase points to use on the community ect.

Sorry for being so unclear about a social site lol.

Why not give all the ways that you think the sites could be used a try and see what happens.

If you are thinking of selling / renting your sites to local businesses you need to be able to show them how your sites will bring in potential customers / leads.

Perhaps you pick a local business that you feel comfortable with and set one of your sites up so that it "branded" as theirs and let them have a month free trial and track the results.

Take action and have fun, and see what happens.

Take good care of those that you love.

Clients will be needing reviews of your service too.

In order to build up your client list you could do a couple for free (you say you already have them ready to go so wouldn't be too much work I'm guessing?) - I don't know if you have friends/family members who have companies that you could help them first in order to build a bit of a portfolio and reputation at a cheaper cost or freebie? Get immediate friends and family to write down all of the people they know that have businesses and then get an endorsement from the friend saying that they know a person that does such and such and these are the results you could expect etc. Hope that helps?

bit late but why did you build them all if you had no idea what you were going to do with them to monetise them ?
I realise that isnt the question you're asking, but possibly it should have been asked 12 months ago, build one, monetise it, then repeat.

Can they be localised so be for local business/ retail areas/ tourist centres etc , Can they be mobilised too ie are they mobile friendly as then they will have far more possibilities .

Thanks for all the tips everyone! I have a better understanding of what direction to take.
Mike, I built the sites to flip, but I realized that I could possibly use them for local business instead, an possibly grow a residual business instead of only getting a one time payment from my buyer. They can definatly be localized. I would have to make some modifications ie design, wording ect. Yes they are mobilized too.
