I will happily pay for your time to figure out best solution to answer the following post:


We are a 4 year old Internet Marketing Company (Internet Business Solutions) with one of our core products as SEO.

We use IBP (iBusinessPromoter) to create & email the monthly SEO Keyword Ranking Report for clients.

The problem with IBP is it cannot handle more than 15 websites to do the auto monthly keyword reporting as the IBP either spits out incorrect data on the report, or the IBP locks up.

Our attempted solutions to fix IBP has been:

1. in contact with IBP support for a year with no help/solution forthcoming.

2. We have used 2 different IBP accounts, on 2 brand new windows computers solely for the purpose of holding the IBP software exclusively to minimise anything to cause a failure, and still the glitches happen.

To manage this problem we are simply manually spending a lot of time on:

1. the IBP tool to fix it when it shuts down (which is a long process as one .dll always goes missing from a microsoft folder that then needs to be re-instated), or

2. we identify the incorrect reports that get sent out, run the tool manually and then send the reports out manually with apologies to the client for the buggy SEO tool we use.


Alternative Solution:

We researched Google, spoke to associates and looked in forums for other SEO keyword ranking tools out there. We tested about 15 tools and they all have a non acceptable Client SEO keyword Ranking Reports because they are either too technical with the display info, or the colour/creative of the report is not up to par for a client ie it looks crap!


We simply want a nice looking pdf SEO keyword report that ONLY shows:

• Keyword - page position - keyword position
• Ability to brand report with logo
• Clients website name
• Monthly auto SEO report sent from our email address to client


The best tool that showed the correct info on the Client Report (besides IBP) was MySEOtool.com but unfortunately this SEO report is still not acceptable for clients, ie looks crap.

We can not sustain using the IBP reporting tool as we are bringing on about 5 – 10 SEO clients/week.

Can anyone help with either suggestion a tool we can use, or can we rent, buy, access an existing SEO companies keyword report that they developed themselves, as if we get no feedback from this thread, we will develop our own SEO tool, and one day, if we have time, put it to market.

  • Are you wanting to brand your reports? Are you sure its not your perspective that the reports are ugly and you think you clients feel the same way?

      Yes, we are defiantly wanting to brand the reports. In fact we need to brand the reports with 3 different logos, as we white label our services to other agencies.

      The perspective on the proposed SEO reports ( reporting tools that generate the reports) is from my white labelled agencies. They are the main source of the SEO sales, so I have to appease them.

      I do agree that the report should just show the keyword, page number, page position to keep it simple and clean. And would be even better if it showed these numbers over a time line of say 6 months, so a person can see the trend of the rise of rankings, and then how they do small google dance up and down once on page 1.

      I have looked at your software you have created and I have aot of respect for what you have done.

      I will be back to you on here all when I get see these reports again
  • SEOmoz offers pdf reports. Is there a reason why you don't create your own pdf reports in a better format than IBM? It would be relatively simple and you can have this outsourced for CHEAP.

      I remember trialling SEO moz, but I did not keep the reports so I cant give feedback this second on why I did not go with it.

      The reason why we don't create our own nicely formatted PDF reports is for time. We have 70 SEO clients and its growing. I need a monthly automated reporting tool, that only shows the page and position because that is all the client can understand ( note: we get rankings for every keyword we go after, even with our 25 KW package), that can email out accurate reports from our email address with a templated covering email.
