Best Place to Buy Email Leads?

Hello

I am looking to do some compliant email marketing, B2B.

Scraping doesn't seem to work well.

Where can I buy leads? Like if I wanted to email every dentist in Wisconsin, etc.

?

Infousa?

I was just wondering if anyone could suggest a place.

I have purchased Infousa stuff before... no emails there. The most compliant way would be to hire a VA to grab emails from websites or call the dentists and request the email address. You'll get the highest quality doing that, too.

Keep in mind that any email lists you buy will not be high quality. They've most likely been scraped. Further, emailing to these addresses via an autoresponder or via your domain email (ie: info@yourcompany.com) will be against the TOS of the autoresponder company or your web host.

If you want the best results, I highly recommend you hire a professional phone person to call each office and request the email.

I've heard that calling to invite the prospect to view a 5-10 minute online presentation, or better yet, to offer a guide or competitor report can work really well. That way you're getting warm leads and they're expecting your email. You're also then free to follow up to see if they liked what you gave them.

    Good luck!

    Dont Buy Email Lists.
Why? Majority Of the time there WAY outdated + Spammed to death.
So What Do you do ?
Build an OPT-IN page with a Offer that will satisfy a dentist.
Not Working you can Also Try Scraping C****List to find em.

I agree with Kung Fu. I did a campaign where I bought a bunch of info like that including phone numbers and had a company call the numbers and follow up with email. They told me later that they could have saved me a bunch of money over buying a list by having one of their guys go through databases and websites to grab that info.

  • Email lists are a tough battle. I probably get asked about that five times a week and the short answer is "no". As has been previously mentioned, an effective way of getting e-mail addresses that work is to hire someone to call through a cheap telemarketing list and ask for e-mail addresses. The 2.0 version of this is to offer something of value that is relevant to a prospect you would want. For example, if you were doing social marketing or looking for website customers you could have your assistant (or do it yourself for that matter) call through with a pitch like:

"I'm calling businesses today because I offer website development and as a way of getting my name out there I'm offering to setup social networking profiles for free. Could I e-mail you some information about that?"

I know folks have mixed feelings about Greg Jacobs (Mage Monster), but he's a really cool marketer. Whether you like his product(s) or not, he did make a really cool point when he was gathering folks for his opt-in list for when he launches more licenses for his product. He wants the e-mail addresses so what he does is give away a free plug-in (that is really cool) along with the blueprint of what his software/system does. He point blank says "You're giving me something of value, you're e-mail address, so I need to give you something of value." I think that's a really simple concept, but it's sort of a big deal. Applying that to all of your marketing can make a big difference.
