Has Anyone Tried Promoting Affiliate Programs Offline?

OFFLINE MARKETING

I was thinking about doing this but haven't had time. My idea is basically to choose an affiliate program that I think might sell well offline and to create fliers, business cards, etc. with a domain that forwards to my affiliate link. Basically, I'm promoting the product like I would an MLM program. Do you think this would work?

There was a guy 12 months ago who was ripping up trade shows etc handing out flyers on woodworking. Made a tidy sum in a couple of months. I will look for the link for you and be back
