Questions about Demo Sites

Got on the phone last Wed and generated some interest in websites. Although no-one requested a demo site I thought I would build at least one for one prospect in particular only because I think a little nudge will make the difference.

The question I have is, must I purchase a domain name to build each site? or is there a way to build these sites where they can be seen w/out purchasing individual domains. I would also like to know how to secure the contract and payment w/out having to drive all over the place.

Related to that is, how can I secure contracts from other states. Thanks F.A. Perry

You should set up a subdomain for your demos. No reason to buy a domain name for it when there is no intention or interest shown yet.

Something like denverplumber.yoursite.com that way he can easily type it into the explorer bar and check it out.

Since I outsource most of my offline work, I usually use the demo sites offered by the designer that I hire to do webdesign/mobile design/SEO for me.

This saved me so much time and got me started off sooo much quicker.

This might be something you would like to consider.
