Always Walk Away With Something
I do not have a sale or appointment to report...*sigh* but honestly, I only had 30 minutes to call and wanted to just burst through the crazy lizard talk in my head.(jasonk)
One of my calls was with a local Cosmetic Surgery facility that I noticed in one of the local mailers without a website.
I called and was transferred to one of the physicians who said their new website should be complete within the next week or so but that he would be open to receiving my information should he want to do an update or redesign. I asked if his new site would be mobile optimised, to which he said yes.
Next, I informed him that I'm looking to build up my practice and focus on providing web consulting services to medical professionals and is there a place where physicians like himself go to discuss things like what I offer. Surprisingly, he said yes and gave me the name of the local association to contact.
When I checked their Association site, there is an area for Vendors who wish to market or network with this group. The annual fee is quite affordable and I plan to generate the income and buy a
1st tier membership which will provide the chance to attend all of their meetings and network with them afterwards.
Moral to this long winded story is even if the lead is not a slam dunk, go ahead and ask the lead you called how to possibly find more leads like him.
