Anyone Got Any Great Ideas For Getting Paid?

I have a website ranking highly in Google for local search terms and I am aiming to sell advertising out on it for up to 9 businesses.

I was hoping someone could recommend an easy, simple way to ensure I get paid on a monthly basis for each of these ads with the least amount of fuss (IE I don't want to have to send 9 invoices out every month and keep track of who pays and who doesn't).

Suggestions REALLY appreciated!

Thanks for the late nite comedy payoman, I am nominating you for official mascot of the offline forum.

I love you. 2 weeks ago you are crying how you did all this seo and your page is not doing so well NOW it gets on the first page and you are a TYCOON ready to sit back and collect advertising from 9 people while sipping champagne on the Riviera.

First let me make sure I understand your dilemma
    1. You want to sell advertising to 9 businesses
    2. But You dont want to send out 9 invoices
    3. AND You dont want to keep track of who pays and who doesnt

Well you could set up advertisers on a subscription via paypal, but you would still have to see if they paid or not.

You could work a deal and sell the site to someone who actually wants to do the dirty work
    or my best answer is

You could sell them a one year deal all up front, then you wouldnt have to worry about monthly invoices.

    Now go get paid PAYOMAN!!!!

Lol, thanks Eddie. Nice to know my crying is memorable haha.

Well, in a way I still AM crying about that, because it was only until I ordered a couple of Fiverr gigs did my site actually rank up. All the manual SEO I did using a software program did diddly squat.

But thanks, I think I will try the contract idea!

There are some great Joomla membership extensions that work with paypal subscriptions. Set up another site (on a subdomain) for billing, have them become a member of the site. Then have the site send you (and them) an email when they are default. The extensions would already have this functionality built in.

Or even better (but more work): have the membership site manage the banner on your ranked site. So, that when in default the you get an email and the ad disappears.

Pay me to send out your invoices if you don't want to do it.
I would love to have more invoices to send out each week/month.
You don't get something for nothing.

There is nothing you can do to ENSURE you will get paid each month (well legally that is)! Now there are plenty of things you can do to automate the process such as PayPal, Google Checkout, Amazon Payments and any number of plugins, add ons and shopping carts. Personally I would use PayPal as it is pretty easy. Just look each month and you'll see who did not pay. Cancel their service/placement and find a replacement if they did not pay.

Invoicing, bah. Payment up front automatically. They will have a receipt in their CC account statement. This is 2012, invoicing is for those that have rotary phones ;-)

Payoman, take your time with this. Think it over for a while. Don't get stressed out about details like generating revenue and don't overwork yourself trying to be successful. We need you here for comic relief, not out there building a business where you're no use to anyone.

Take a look at our new startup. The website is still in development, but we are interested in protecting people's ideas, while still being able to promote them for purchase by companies. It is a free site to use and will have a low cost premium service with additional benefits for those interested. We are marketing to companies to submit requests for ideas for their products or services, which can be satisfied by ideas from our users. We are working with IP attorneys to assist us with the protection aspect, while still getting recognition for idea sellers and creating a social buzz for companies that purchase these ideas.

We welcome any and all feedback. This reply won't allow me to post my full domain, but just search for youZingit on Google.

We also have a Facebook page with current contest just for fun while we develop our site. Design our Facebook Cover Photo for a $250 prize.

    Thanks,
