Tough question - Other businesses that serve similar clients as us

I'm doing some brainstorming and having a difficult time coming up with businesses that serve similar needs as us web marketing companies that we would be able to partner with and get referrals from.

For example, if I was a Chiropractor, I would contact personal injury attorneys would service injured patients and who would be able to REFER them to me. Or if I was a Physical Therapist, I would contact chiropractors and get on their good side so that they REFER patients that need physical therapy to me.

What businesses are there that serve the same needs, but don't do web marketing, and would refer people to us web design & marketing guys? The only business I can think of now is print advertising companies.

    Computer repair companies as well....

    But any company can refer business to your marketing company as long as you do a great job for them.

    Accountants, computer repairs and networkers, business coaches, marketing consultants (actual consultants not marketing providers), hosting companies, health & safety trainers (and other trainers) - basically anyone who provides what's seen as a professional B2B service.

      One thing you can do is speak to the guy who has created the site for your client, and you can do a deal where he can refer his current clients for your services, in return for whatever incentive you can give.

    Newspapers, Advertisers, magazines, print shops, sign shops, google.

    One thing I have personally ran across is a sort of leeriness from other businesses. They just dont understand why they should swap leads with you. In other words, why doesn't the customer just come to them. Small thinking. But I have had luck with print shops.
