Web Software to keep track of salespeople commissions?

Anyone know of any software that would keep track of salespeople, how much in sales they do, as well as commissions on a monthly basis? I'd like to start hiring a lot of sales people and offer them a good incentive program but not sure how to track it. Also is it possible to have these Salespeople who are working from home be able to take credit card payments over the phone?

    For the credit card info I would recommend that they submit an online order form instead.

    For the sales info, this depends on your needs and or budget. You can setup something decent with wordpress, a few plugins and some of your time. You can also do something with freshbooks,blinksale, or a sales type crm like Simple Sales Tracking & CRM Software - Online CRM Software | PipelineDeals or http://capsulecrm.com/

      I can't highly recommend enough 37 Signals right here in Chicago. They're the creators of the project management software called BaseCamp.

      They have this slick CRM product called Highrise. Similar to Capsule (mentioned above) but instead of $12 a month per user Highrise is a flat $49 monthly for 15 users and you can get started for only $24 monthly for 6 users.

    For the credit card info, I agree, use an online form. I would just send them a PayPal "Payment Request". All the client needs to do is open their e-mail, click on the link and pop in their credit card info.

    What's really working for me is getting the payment right there in the business. I use my iPad or iPhone and "Square". The little square block that lets you swipe the card right there on the fly. The WOW factor is cool and the business owner gets really excited too!

    Obviously is you're selling services worldwide this is not an option but if you're prospecting locally you will more than likely meet the potential client face to face anyway.

    Thanks everyone for the replies. Is there a way I can track the sales of each individual sales person through paypal? Whatever I use I want to make sure I can track each sale and make sure each person is getting the commission they deserve.
