Marketing Activities For Staff

I just hired a VA / worker to do marketing full-time for my offline clients.

The business is new and my clients for the most part have zero optimization on their local sites.

What would you suggest I get my worker to do for my client websites to help them get ranked on a local level?

I have a grasp of the things that should get done but want my worker to focus on the most effective activities for results.

    I have a full time VA and he plays an important role in keeping my campaigns organized and updated. I would start with basic onpage & off page SEO. Make sure they are targeting the right keywords. Have some high quality content written for their blog, or use for blog content that points to their site. Do a few press releases & submissions. Citations, social bookmarking... There's a TON of good info here on the forum. Get yourself a coffee and digg in =)

    Also, make sure to communicate with your VA and ask what types of optimization they are experienced with. Often times you need to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and then train accordingly.
