Am I reading this right? Gmail Sending limits

I just go this new plugin for gmail will allow me to schedule when emails are sent out during the week/day. So i wondered what the limits were per day when sending out an email.


I read this post a year go and it stated that gmail was 100 a day.

Today I found this post that says its way more then that (about 1000 a day)

Just looking for a second option or advice because this would really help boost my online lead gen if it was true.

    Gmail within Google APPS accounts has a different set of rules and terms of service than does plain gmail webmail.

    There is an hourly limit, and a daily send limit.

    What about using GMail for the convenience, but using a domain hosted email for all the other settings? My guess it then becomes the host's limitation.

    I have an employee sending emails at this time, but as of yet she has never sent more than 150 a day. There are sent one by one. I do want to try a method sending to 5-15 addresses at a time, so she will reach 500 in a day for sure. I guess I'll see then.

    It would be best that use email marketing service so you can send more per day .
    In the same time you stil can track all email and track how much lead you get with all the email you sent.
