How to delete Google Places Listing?

HELP! I deleted a client's listing and need to know when it will no longer be visible in the SERPS!! Please advise.

      You need to go into their account and make it inactive rather than deleting it. For some reason even if you delete it sometimes they reappear. It can take 2- 3 weeks for Google to update.

    There are two options to delete or remove a listing: temove this listing from my Google Places Account or remove this listing from Google Maps.
