Building offline businesses with fiverr

Over the course of the last few months I have developed methods to utilize using fiverr for various offline businesses and resources. I'm proud to say that surprisingly these methods have proven to be extremely victorious and have led me to shift my gears towards a more passionate approach with regards to using fiverr gigs to outsource to offline clients.

Does anyone have experiences with this regard who would like to share ideas/tactics? I have made HANDSOME profits thus far and am very interested in hearing other people's stories and how they feel about this direction.

Thanks

It might be good for you to start by explaining one way you have made money using fiverr. Your thread will likely have a better following if you first give an example. I know I would be interested at least.

      Hey Tiff

No personal experience but I would love to hear some of yours. I have had mixed feelings about using fiverr.

My personal experience with fiverr, is how can I really be motivated by something where I make $4 per gig.

Something I did try, I got an outsourcer and put a few things up like logo design, banner design, etc, and when I sent them the files I would put it in a zip with all my contact info for websites or SEO.

IT generated interest... but by people wanting stuff done cheap. Anyway.. that kind of sums it up.

I haven't effectively been able to find a way to make decent profit on there to my standards, without it involving too much work.

Well, I think the OP was talking about using the services of fiverr sellers to make money in offline. Another way of arbitrage. For example, find a client interested in a promotion video for their business and then find a fiverr seller that could do the job. Sell the vid for a few hundred but only pay $5 maybe 10 or 20 to get the video made. It is just too bad the OP didn't start the thread with an example of her own.

Yep.. you're right! LOL. I need a starbucks IN my house in order to function properly 100% of the time.

I have used a few services on fiverr, like the twitter and facebook blasts, and crap like that. Stuff on linked in and social bookmarks, but usually for dummy sites that I own and not for real clients.

I shared your lack of enthusiasm torwards using fiverr to gain finances as a seller. I will share with you though as a pure experiment I decided to see what the maximum amount of money i could make as a seller on fiverr in one month would be, and I earned a little over 2k.

After one month I stopped because I felt I could use that time to make much bigger and larger moves both offline and online with the time, but i share that because I want those who are at stage one and not making any money at the moment to rest assured that the potential IS THERE for those who have the time and energy.

That equates to 400 Gigs per month. When did you find time to sleep?

80% of the gigs involved simply copying and pasting a link after the user purchased the gig, despite this i still found it a bit overwhelming.

I have tried to save time by using Fiverr for a few graphics but have not yet managed to find anyone who didn't supply me with something quite generic or basic, even thought their portfolio looked impressive, they had good feedback and I was specific when giving instructions and examples.

How can you find the Fiverr members who fit with your own style?

How do YOU choose who to work with on Fiverr Tiffany?

ONCE UPON A TIME there was a Warrior named Bob. He was sad. And frustrated. You see, Warrior Bob spent every last nickel on Internet Marketing e-books. But nothing panned out. No traffic. No sales. He was one sad Bob. Then one day Bob found a bottle. He rubbed it and out came a Genie who granted him 3 wishes. For Wish #1 Bob asked for a pet Dragon. Wish Granted. For Wish #2, Bob wanted Warriors' websites seen by 53 million TV viewers, for under $5 per broadcast. The Genie said... (click here)

I hate to thread jack if I am but I have used Fiverr to outsource my entire business. I mean if I can get it done for $5 I'm in. I try to use fiverr for Graphics and a lot of SEO like backlinks (but High PR). I tell people use fiverr as an outsource site instead and bank off the fact that many don't know about Fiverr. These services can be flipped for crazy profits and offline is still untapped imo and someone can use fiverr to kill it.

I have yet to find a high PR backlink on fiverr... there is a difference between high PR backlinks, and high pr root domains, people bank on the fact that most people don't know the difference.

I beg to differ I do inf act know the difference between the two just goes to show how much you research there? I would never buy a gig that tells me PR what ever and come to find out it is just the root domain that hold the PR. I only order Links with the PR on actual PAGE. I find these all day long on fiverr.

I too have used fiverr for logos and content (when I'm too busy). It has proved very profitable for me because my time is better spent doing something else.

That is not a bad idea, I never thought about making a fiverr WSO but it would be hard to condense it all in a few comments. Perhaps a book would be a better idea.

Then again my intention was only to share my story and hear other stories, but thanks for planting that seed in my mind !

So you are not going to offer your example of how you have made money with fiverr?

No, she is not going to share ANYTHING of any value with you until you buy the forthcoming WSO.

What it basically comes down to, I think, is that she had a decent sized facebook fan page or twitter followers and just pasted the link to all her followers.

Clearly it is just to generate interest here, but she doesn't realize this is offline marketing, not the main internet marketing area with a bunch of people interested in fiverr as an income stream.

            CG,

She did say she made a little over 2k. That is probably as much info as we will ever get. Of course, maybe she knows the value of her talent.

I'm not saying that to be mean but if you are wasting your time hustling on fiverr instead of talking to clents who will pay you $500 and up, what can you possibly tell anyone that they would care about?

I share your opinion about valueless posts. I can't wait for the expected fiverr wso :-)

    I use fiverr to:

    Get videos made
    Get headers made
Get some some off-page SEO tasks done

I also buy gigs just because I am addicted to what I can get for $5.

I have probably spent near 2500K on fiver this year alone - it's bad, but most of that is testing gigs, etc. I have found my "winners" that do exactly what needs to be done.

I actually used fiverr for SEO on a very competitive Keyword and it worked. The beauty of it is that, you spend less and get result. Though you must do some research with gig u intend to buy.
