I dont know FB very well, client wants me to learn and be an admin...

I'm embarrassed to ask ....I have a business page I created/been testing and I gave them my FB business account email to send me an invite to be an admin. I never received it. Am I supposed to give them my private FB account email ?

FB confuses me (using it as my personal vs using it as my business). I dont want to turn down $ and they know Im learning...just trying to not look too much like a jackass.

Please help

    This post is very inspirational.

There are people who know all about Facebook but cant find a client and
here you are getting paid and you dont even know how to add an administrator.

Thank you for the reply. I suck and I am still confused.
They asked me for my email address so they could add me as an admin.
I gave them the one associated with my barely built business page.
They let me know they sent me an invite for an admin

I checked my email, no message received. No message on my FB business inbox either.
Should I have given them my personal email account ? or does it matter ?
(this is where i get confused with using FB as my personal profile vs business profile)

Maybe you might have someone call on your behalf as your company representative to handle this? I hate to see you lose a client as there are many FB whizzes on this forum.

Do a search within this forum for FB( Facebook) topics and reach out for help.

I'm a novice at FB and won't touch it for that same reason but there are plenty of folks who should be able to help you in exchange for something of value to them.

    All the best.

yeah i might have to find someone, but I cant have them call. Thank you for the suggestion though.

I had my wife set up a bogus business acct and send me an invite as an admin. This time I got the email request to be an admin. But still working out the rest.

I still need to know (this is what Im trying to figure out) whether I should have given my personal email associated to my FB account or my business email account on my business FB page

I created my business account through my personal page. Should/can I have created a business account ....forget it , I will look it up in FB.

you need to send to your personal account just like you from your personal account is admin for your business. Now go farm out the responsibility to take care of their page. Make yourself some money and a good contact who's service you can continue to sell.

Being smart is not knowing all the answers but knowing where to find them!

It's ok - we all had to learn at one point. I'm glad to help if you'd like, and I would also be willing to call for you if you need someone to do that. Just PM me.

    Thanks!

Good luck man! Sometimes, it takes a client to push us to learn things which might be beneficial and/or profitable in the future.
