Hello fellow warriors,

I am new here and I was wondering what the best methods are for getting people to sign up (free) for a micro job website I just completed. Any ideas would help - the site is Ad-Zilla.com - Thanks in advance!

  • So, congrats! you have done 50% of your job. Now remaining 50% depends on how you could promote your site and how well you could manage you site.... Please start SEO for your site.
  • Hey Jewelraz, Please elaborate this promotion method.
  • Promote your site... post it on forums, blogs, media sites..get it ranked in google, keywords/... allot of things.

Check out the SEO section of this board.
  • Fo sho, I considered starting a micro job site myself in a very specific niche, I just don't have the time at the moment.

My promotional method was going to be SEO, get it ranked for term such as "get ____ jobs", then meta description the **** out of it "offer your ________ services to our massive list employers".

Then charge a percentage Fiverr style, you would basically only need 5000 jobs to go through your site and you'd have a full time income.

I remember reading a pretty good case study on the growth of Fiverr, you should google it and pretty much copy it.

    • Best way for free sign up customers is to get your micro job ranked in your niche in top 10 on the 1st page on Google. For example: micro jobs site like fiverr, gigbux, or gigs20 have special keywords/phrases already ranked in Google and Yahoo. You would have to do the same to attract your free sign ups.

  • I remember one of these sites offering $5 to join and I think it was working. People were given an incentive and they took it. The company got them on the list and the email auto responder kicked in.

So I would say offer some kind of incentive for people to join and retain them on your list.
  • i have a micro job site all up and running , im looking to sell
  • williamIII,

Something doesn't sound right. You put up your site w/o any research how to reach your market? That doesn't make sense. At least to me, it doesn't.

I bet you have an idea or two and just want someone to validate it or them. OK, I am validating them. Go forth and try them. If they work wonderful. If they don't come back to your thread and tell us what you did and we'll give you an honest critique.

    That's fair isn't it?

    Tom
