Hey guys,

I am starting for a client tomorrow and I want to be able to track the phone calls that they get from their website.

Straight-up I just want to know how many people are dialing a number so I can measure leads they are getting.

Do any of you guys use a service you could recommend to me?

Thanks!

I really like ringcentral. I already have an account for my business so additional numbers are $4.99/mo, and the feature set is phenomenal.

How can you track calls received on Google voice? It only records voice messages and text but not calls that are answered.

How can it track calls that are answered by the client?

If you use a twilio number, this script can track lots of data on the call, even record it and store an mp3 file.

It really does depend on what you are after from a call tracking supplier. You need to shop around. I recommend that you get some demos from the top 3 or 4 companies listed on Google and really explore your options. Some maybe cheaper or even free but they might not give you the data that you require. Many call tracking companies, including Mediahawk, give free demos and trials to be sure you are making the right decision. If you need any detailed advice on what to look out for send me a direct message and I will do my best to help.

I like the idea of free trials before buying...helps you to know if you will really use all of the features of the service, and if it is worth the cost

I hear Marchex call analytics is pretty decent. A lot of the larger players on the offline marketing game use it. I think they've also got white label reporting for clients that you may be able to integrate with google analytics...

If your serious about this then don't go with google voice. You really can't scale GV at all.
Few things you have to ask yourself.
1.) Do you want to record calls?
2.) Do you want a online portal for your clients?
    3.) What is your budget?

I use callfire utilizing both the whisper and record features.

Whisper is great because then when a client gets a call from one of my lead generators, they know immediately that it is a result of MY efforts.

Only $1.00 a month for the number and .05 a minute for the talk.

    Not free but close enough.

The data they provided me during the free trial of 30 days was able to save from my ad-spent is much more than that of their subscription fee...

You can have a look at their website by clicking the below link. They provides complete call tracking and analytics with superbly efficient and integratable Click to call widgets...

I have started referring it to my clients.. Have a try and they have got great plans for agencies as well...
Why are you so intent on bringing up old threads and this site?

I am pretty sure, the OP was able to solve their problem from over a year ago.

Plus, your spamming site costs more with less features than the better know services.

You can use a free service Google voice or the one that I use is the best and it is called call tracker pro with whispers .

When a lead calls it whispers in the ear of the person (your client) where the lead was generated from this way you do not get screwed on top of keeping stats.
    Best of luck
