How to approach the big-named authors to give you testimonials?

This is my first time posting in offline section.
I'm right now writing my first book (not e-book) and on the way to publish it through third party book publisher. Publishers can be hard sometimes, and I'm thinking about asking reviews and testimonials from big named authors, which I'll attach on the book proposal when I'm sending it.....
any idea how to approach these senior authors? any answer is highly appreciated. thank you
