Best offline course?

Not sure there is one that's GOOD and covers all 3.

It's kinda like trying to find a car that has an engine like a sports car, rides like a luxury sedan but has the room of an SUV. Kinda hard to get all those features in one vehicle.

There maybe good courses on design/mobile but I would not expect someone that's really good at both those to also be an expert at Places. Places is super tricky and to do it right, much less teach it, takes a lot of knowledge.

So I'd split it up and find a good design/mobile course but then if you are serious about Places go with a dedicated Places course. I've heard good feedback about Brian and Marios courses and have spot checked a couple, but am not sure what they have going right now.

I'd say don't waste your money, it's all here for FREE, just gotta dig a little =)

This might sound crazy, but it depends what you are trying to achieve.

If you are wanting to start an offline marketing business, you don't need to know any of that stuff - you just need to know where to find people to outsource to.

If you genuinely want to learn web design, there are some great courses that you can do - but how much do you want to learn? And what do you want to learn? HTML, PHP, Wordpress.... Do you want to learn to design or just install?

Then Google Places - again, just to create a listing, or to create and rank well...

And again with mobile marketing.

You can go and find clients and sell them these services as long as you understand their importance, and their use - you don't need to know how to actually carry out the tasks.

But if you do want to learn, I would suggest breaking down the 3 elements to individuals and you will find great courses that teach each item.

I am agree with the comment that, it does not require to pay money for those. First what you need to is just prepare a list of all those think you want to learn, then search one by one in this forum, everything is here. Best of luck!

I wish learning Internet Marketing and Offline Consulting is as easy as some of the above posts make it sound. It does take time, training, learning and finding a mentor. I found my mentor in 2007 and began Offline Marketing in 2008. This Forum has also been a huge value and I have bought many WSO's myself to fast track my learning.

Most of the information you will need is free in this forum. For really good sales tips do a Warrior Forum search for posts by John Durham, Rus Sells, David Miller, iamnameless, sdentrepreneur, kaniganj. These gentlemen have, repeatedly, given great information about how to sell your services -- telephone scripts for appointments, getting past gatekeepers, finding prospects, etc..

In the offline world the most important skill is know how to SELL -- find prospects, make appointments, deliver presentation (in person or on the telephone) , overcoming objections and closing(asking for the money). Without knowing how to sell, your offline business will fail.

All of the services you offer -- web design, Google+ local (Google Places), mobile marketing -- can be outsourced. I realize, starting out you may want to know how to do these things yourself; however, if you want your business to grow you will have to outsource these services at some point.

For mobile marketing I strongly recommend mobile WSOs by WillR and Quinten. I bought both and they have different information and are very good. For Google+ local iamnameless gave free information in a post today which is invaluable to doing Google+ local listing:

As for web design, just Google free tutorials for Wordpress and Joomla. Study these tutorials. Ink Themes and Elegant Theme offer easy to use themes for Wordpress. I also like the Headway Theme it allows for more customization, which you will find some of your clients may want. For even for more customization learn Joomla, it is just slightly more difficult to learn than Wordpress, but worth the effort.

Again, concentrate most of your energy on learning how to SELL. You can pay someone else do the actual service, while you're out getting more customers and making even more money.

According to me PHP Development with web designing is the best offline courses.

If you don't want to spend the months and years of research time to do it yourself, oh yes, there is a mentor available that covers at least part of what you want and will fast track you.

But I'm in agreement with Catalyst eMarketing that your shopping list is too extensive to find everything you want in one box.

Website design - I have bought a few good themes with developers licences and use these to build great websites for local businesses - no coding required.
Maybe focus on learning and providing one service at a time, the most important thing is learning how to sell it. Once you can do this, you can outsource the design work.

It's not a course, but OfflineBiz.com has some excellent resources on all of these topics in there members forum.

Based on your description, I think you might need an internet marketing course or a more marketing type course which you can find many of them here in the WF.

Offline consulting is not totally about helping businesses use the internet to grow their business. While leveraging the internet is certainly important, if you want to make money by helping local (or not local) businesses increase their visibility, get more customers and clients to buy from them, you'll need to look at ways beyond the ones you mentioned so you don't fall into the classification of "...just another one of those annoying people that want to sell me a website!"
