How to build my team? Please help warriors.

Another question for you all.
Actually i want to expand my business of offering services to businesses and i want to build my team. What do you think, where could i get a PA and a designer who could agree to work with me on a percentage per sale basis. I don't want to hire people for single projects because i want someone whom i can trust.

You can ask for those two positions in warrior. Besides this, there are a lot of freelancing sites where you can ask so giving all details of the posts, with the rate. You can choose from the applicant with your desired percentage rate.

i know that but i don't want to hire someone for a single project as mentioned. I am looking to build my team. On all the freelancing sites, you have to choose to hire either on a project basis or an horly basis. I want to know if i can get some potential partners.

let people know you are looking to do joint ventures. Just so you know, most people that are good at what they do are going to want to see a track record of your projects making money before they partner with you.

Original poster, if you've got clients looking for media design, commercial production, copywriting and web design, I might be interested. Send me a PM, I've got plenty of work samples for you to bring to clients.

You can hire people on freelancing sites and have there emails. So you can contact them again. Or you can hire Virtual Assistants to work for you per hour. There are plenty of options.

Or you could go the other route and hire locally in your area so you could meet with them to train and supervise. Sometimes that can work better than trying to work with people through skype/email. Of course it will cost more, but as long as your prices can support the added cost it might work better.
I've hired outsourcers for long term work and found hiring high school kids who are smart is the same price as low cost outsourcers because the local kids work much faster and are easier to train. And they have their own computers and don't have power outages or get maleria...

Sometimes it's better to meet your team face to face, but I have used o-desk before and had really good results. And of course, people on this forum.

There are a couple of dangers with outsourcing that you don't hear much about.

      1. The outsourcer can go behind your back and offer the client the same services at a lower price.

      2. Outsourcer can plant trojans, keyloggers, spam-bots and who knows what else on your client's server or hosting.

Be careful, because you can end up getting sued by your client for harm done by an outsourcer. And if they are in India, Philippines or other offshore location there's not much you can do about it.

Are you planning on giving them full access to all of your systems? If you're paying someone on a percentage basis (I would imagine you're referring to them receiving a set percentage of the profit you generate), you want to be sure they can check the figures themselves. There is a certain level of trust involved here and looking to hire someone on incentive pay (with no base) can be difficult because there is no "set rate" of pay. Also, since the work doesn't seem like it would be project-based, you should be sure you have a clear agreement stating that they are an independent contractor. The best way to accomplish this is to go corp-to-corp.

I hired someone on Elance for a logo design and he ended up doing such a great job that I have hired him for another project. This will now be my new logo and web designer that I will be working with.

You can still hire people on a per project basis... they can be the same people you always work with. I have a group of designers/programmers that I work with on a per project basis.
