How to generate leads and prove them?

Confused. Can someone explain how I can prove my website is generating leads to my client? Do I add a trackable coupon..? Change the phone number to something I can track..?

    There are services out there that let you set up a 1800 # and track it. There is an excellent WSO on here for a course called Local Marketing Alchemy by Jay Brown. It goes through the exact process of what you want.

      A toll free number wouldn't be as good as a local one for your client. You can use Callfire to buy a local number in your client's area and then redirect the calls to your client's office number or whatever he uses to receive calls. Callfire will give you call recordings and a whisper feature which is very cool (when your client receives a call a short message will tell him that is a lead from you -very cool).

    Trackable coupons work. You may also want to set up a form to email and track it through Google Analytics.
