CallFire Cloud Call Center... What's the deal? Is it Good? A guy I'm training.....

Okay, so a little dilemma I have... I'm trying to train a guy, this was his first full week and he isn't doing so well. I think that's mostly because he isn't dialing enough, he's probably doing 30-50 a day, well he was at first. I think it dropped down to like 20 a day because he's not motivated and is being too picky about the leads.

Now... what I think might do it, is forcing him to make more calls. I have always hand dialed, and I do well enough. The difference is, I'm motivated, I like sales, I like money and I love succeeding. So, what better way than to force him to get used to a script and talking to people?

This looks like the perfect solution... $2/hr, can't beat that, right?

Questions... how does it really work?

One question, I know it imports from a CRM and brings up the info, but does it also save info back into the CRM with notes or do you need to figure out a way to sync the CRM with callfire in order to keep the notes updated and change the status of leads? Or do you just need to figure out the order you import, and also pull up the CRM in order to change statuses and notes of the lead while callfire shows relevant info from the CRM? Does that make sense at all with what I'm asking?

How many calls an hour would this do?

I've never used it for outbound, but their inbound services are rock solid.

If he is referring to the .05 per minute for Callfire, maybe I did.

There is just so much talk on here about using foreign help at pennies on the dollar I guess that is where my mind went.

At any rate, my comment was meant as a joke about the rate of pay.

      Sorry for any misinterpretation.

I use Callfire for inbound lead generation tracking and recording only and love it. Can't comment on the outbound stuff as of yet.

        Spot on...

I've worked with a call room converting live transfer leads. They started with virtual qualifiers from the Phillipines, and we saw our overall cost per sale drop 20% using local employees instead, paying them almost 5x the offshore hourly rate.

I don't know, Nameless. Good sales training is expensive in terms of time consumed and I've never seen any viable shortcuts. You may just have to sit in the room with him and coach him until he's dependable or you have to replace him and start over.

      Yeah... ugh.

I believe the major problem is he isn't dialing enough. If he makes enough dials, he's going to be making sales regardless of how much training he has. I can't afford to sit there with him more than I already have. Ack... I'm not a good teacher with sales.

Most doers aren't patient enough to be good teachers (too results oriented) and as we all know and the saying goes, those that can't do, teach.

I understand, that was just a little sidebar. Sorry about going off topic.

Some dialers let you hear the other rep on the line, so that could solve your training problem
    Check salesdialers.com
    or five9.com

both cost like 150 per month, but it would be worth it if your rep is making sales ,

Hey, not to be rude brotha, but your sales guy is a personal friend.

so even tho you both think your looking at the situation in the right way
neither one of you are. you cant. your too close.

its one of the reasons why its so hard to work with friends and family

if it wasn't a friend, it would be real easy to say hey, get off your ass and make some calls
or i am going to fire you....

but ... the situation is not as easy as that, and i am sure you want to maintain the friend ship

so you have to find a different approach.

I don't really know the approach to take. but i do know that you need to come at it
    from a different angle.
