YouTube video thumbnail question...

I recently started ranking one of my client's YouTube videos in Google organic. It is currently on the 2nd page and out of the blue the video thumbnail disappeared but the link to the video is still there?

Anyone know why the thumbnail would disappear?

    With goog updates, can't tell if it will effect anything

    It will come back. Don't know the cause, but I've had it happen a few times with different vids over the last several months. Usually gone for a few days, but always returns.
