Negative SEO is a very intriguing topic for SEO marketers. As some marketers said it is used to destroy competitor's website. Here, pls. site some example of Negative SEO strategy you've learn and what would be the terrible effect of this approach into your site or others site.

    Why do you want to know... So you can do it to someone? I find the idea of Negative SEO so depressing and discouraging. It's hard enough trying to do SEO without the thought that someone might come along and sabotage your efforts. Never even occurred to me until recently. Google is producing this as a sad side effect to their latest updates. Wonder if they anticipated that?

      No mate...I know this method is very disgusting but, we should let them know (Beginners who are confused and knows nothing at all about it) what are some negative SEO so they will be more aware about this. Being mindful of Negative SEO would probably give them more idea on how to deal with those sites that are using this bad strategy and in the process they will be more convinced to use White HAT technique because this negative SEO will give their site an awful consequence.

    It sound like something about reverse SEO on competitor which is a black SEO.
    Reverse SEO is a way to increase own website SERP and decrease competitor SERP, by spamming competitor link on huge amount of website.
    This is not encourage while competitor might check it and return you a favor as well.

    I haven't personally tried this this but I would assume if you want to produce a negative SEO campaign there would be multiple ways of doing it.

    1) Buying an insane amount of blog comments to spammy sites (rather easy to do this on fiverr) and have them all target the same keyword.

    2) Buy or set up a bunch of wiki links all targeting the same keyword and do NOT spin the content on the wiki sites... be sure to keyword stuff the wiki sites with tons of keywords and the same keyword over and over.

    Basically anything that you would never do to your site you would do to your competition... that is basically what negative seo is all about.

    Here's a summary: negative SEO is doing anything to a competitor's site that you wouldn't feel comfortable calling their SEO Manager and telling them you're doing.

    Your online efforts shouldn't be focused on derailing your competitor, but rather elevating yourself.

    Yes, it is a blackhat practice which is often done by obtaining Google bombing services (or other SEO techniques) not for one's own website, but rather for the website of the competitor. The attacker provokes the search company into punishing the "offending" competitor by displaying their page further down in the search results. Matt Cutts confirmed that Google Bowling exists.
