Quickest way of finding sponsors who will pay you!

I expect to hear from midasman09 and some others as well. What are the quickest and more efficient ways that you find sponsors to pay for their name to be on magnets, fliers, etc. Mailings? Emails? Phone calls? Walk-ins?

      The quickest and most efficient method of selling "Ads on Fridge Magnets" for ME...has been....just Walking In...."grabbing the owner by the ankles, turning him upside down and shaking Cash out of his pockets"!

      Just Joking!

      1) Handing a Sample of the product to the person who can write me a check
      2) Telling him WHERE Mags are going
      3) Telling him WHO will see them
      4) How Many, How Long and How Much

      I've done...
      "Welcome Magnets".... mailed to New Residents,
      "Menus To Go Magnets"..... given to restaurant Diners
      "Car Buyer Magnets" ....Given to Car Buyers by the Car Dealer (these have PHOTO of Car Buyer/s standing by their new purchase and a Calendar
      "Chamber Magnets"....ads of Chamber Members given to people visiting Visitor Center
      "HighSchool Sports Schedule Magnets"....HS Sports Schedules with Ads of local biz given to HS Sports Fans

      I don't know about Don but to me it really means, salesmen are more than welcome. I let them tell me in person since I don't acknowledge their sign. They put that sign up only for the non-salesmen types.

      You'd be surprised at how many will listen to you if you have a good presentation. I know I was the first time I did it. Yep, you have to do it to believe it. Hike up your shorts (but don't give yourself a wedgie) and walk in just like you were invited.
