    Good tips for newbie blogger.
I agreed with you to write blog content for longer phrases (3-4) words rather then target for main keywords.I heard entrecard before but never try it because I heard it not help much on quality traffic.

My best tip for blogging is to create excitement. If you are personally interested in your niche subject, people will be able to tell. That makes them want to subscribe to your site.

Some other good tips are to be patient (traffic is not always instant!), vary your postings, post regularly, and use good journalistic sources.

I like your blog setup. You make great use of the affiliate links as headings. I think this is an interesting technique for sure.

    What makes a good blog?

I'm making a sort of funny blog about life in general, a sort of column-esque blog like a bit satirical. Most of the articles I've written are about the annoyances of modern life like Twitter, Facebook, getting your hair cut, teenage hipsters and people in general, etc.
It's really just to have an online portfolio of my work so employers (as I'm trying to get work experience at several large publications) can view my writing easily.

Engage your audience using social media. In the past I have asked questions on twitter and compiled the responses into a blog post. Everyone who answers gets a picture on my blog and a link to their profile.

Whenever I do this I get a lot of retweets and people sharing my links. So my best advice is to look for creative ways to get people involved.

Write for your readers not for search engines. Because search engines like to see you writing for your user.

You are absolutely right, you should always keep an eye on that point. This will prevent that you get a lot of traffic that you canĀ“t convert.

      Kind Regards
