Google Plus SEO Strategy for Client??

Hi!

I just set up Google Plus for one of my clients (the company/organization option) as it's for a eCommerce store.

Anyway I'm a bit lost as to how I can incorporate this into the overall SEO strategy for the client.

Does anybody have any:
- Good pointers generally, or
- Can direct me to some good resources that they know of?

I know overall it's better just to do something than nothing but I'm looking for more substance than that.

That would really help me get the ball rolling with some action steps.

That would be great!

Thanks!
Cathy

Social Signals add a whole lot to your SERP ranking.

With just content alone, you rank good.

Content + Social Signals, you rank great.

    Content + Social Signals + On-page Optimization + Backlinks, you rank #1.

Thank you Harry but to be honest I find this to be more a general statement than addressing the question.

      Thanks anyway!

Google+ is great for rich snippets, and for an ecommerce store you could integrate rich snippets into star ratings for your products. I do this for all my clients and it helps them stand out in the SERPs.
