Would Kill For an Appointment Setter Right About Now

Now that business has finally picked up on a steady slope, I can invest in an appointment setter to call around and book appointments for website redesign and mobile website demos. Can anyone recommend a pay-per-appointment setter who charges around $30-40 per appointment?

i've tried for a while to get a good appointment setter. they all suck. like horribly. the best idea is to get someone to make calls out of your office/home so you can watch and critique .

If you don't mind working with a company we can work somewhere close to those prices.

By working with a company I mean with a service agreement and upfront payment through major credit card. No paypal.

For some warriors that's a deal breaker, they aren't used to that sort of thing.

What kind of upfront payment do you ask for?

When I say upfront payment I mean whatever the cost of the campaign is, whether it's 100 hours, 50 hours, or 25 appointments, that needs to be paid upfront.

So for example, if you were to work with a freelancer you may pay him every friday for the appointments he set that week. We get paid usually for the month upfront, so 25 appointments upfront then we set those 25 for you.

      If this link doesn't work:

Then just search her name on odesk: Rhea Pineda

If you are living somewhere that is a little bit racist (sorry to sound harsh) then you might want to try some more expensive american appointment setters:

I can't personally vouch for any of these but....

      What a small world!

I used Rhea to set appointments for me personally (not my clients because I use american reps) and she did okay. It was an appointment every 4 hours though. What kind of work was she doing for you?

THIS is the biggest secret of those big time telemarketing guys. They say they do ALL their sales over the phone, this is how they do it.

They cold call for appointments, they set up the appointment when the owner is ready to hear a pitch and they have the appointment over the phone.

95% of IM'ers have great relationships with clients who also advertise offline and with other people. Stop missing out on that cash and leverage into it. PM me if you are an established marketer and want to find out how.

Not so much a low amount as it is a rate that corresponds with how long it takes to set a mobile website demo appointment/webdesign appointments.

SEO appointments and PPC appointments are more difficult so they are more expensive. It all corresponds with the work put in.

Would you mind letting me know your full name because I personally contact anyone that submits their information online. I normally start off with a reply email, maybe you missed it?

You can PM it to me if you want.

What's the difference between a telemarketer and an appointment setter? Which is better for selling web design? Local SEO Services?

I can never find commissioned people. No one wants to do it as they don't think they would make enough. For example, if I were selling a package that was $99 down and they got 20-30% commission, it would be great if you were a phone warrior were motivated. Or if I have web design packed for $499 and the rate was 50% commission. But everyone I have ever tried to use never started. Any suggestions on finding a good commissioned sales rep?

I believe we spoke last summer and you never followed up. If you need rates you'll need to call or reply to the email I just forwarded you where we discussed rates last year. I can't just send you rates as what you need is different from what someone else may need, and there are many levels to what types of calls we can make. We need to discuss your specific needs.

The difficulty with pay per appointment set is how to confirm that the appointment was actually successful. Some companies do a call back to the lead afterwards to confirm, but still it can be difficult. We prefer a flat hourly rate approach, and clients love it.
Of course you need to maintain quality to keep things flowing and working for both parties, but hourly works well for us.
Can't help you in Baltimore, just put an ad online somewhere - I'm sure you'll get some calls.

    On appointment setters:

Pay them on an hourly plus a bonus for each appointment they book.

If you pay straight commission, they will send you a bunch of "wood" leads your way. You'll end up wasting your time on crap leads.
