Two of my client's Google+ Local listings just got wiped out...

Well, I just used the scrapebox technique for citations (building forum/profile links and not having a backlink, but having a citation there instead and then getting them indexed) and the two GP listings I used it on are not there anymore.

Can anyone confirm if this has happened to them by using this technique. Is there anyone who is very knowledgeable about GP who can give me some insight?

Thanks in advance!

I just posted this thread a few minutes ago - this would be a much better use of your time:

As someone who is a sales author & trainer, but who happens to also own an SEO/PPC agency, I'm floored that the offline niche is still cold calling while the rest of them modern sales world is moving away from it.

This is something that has been bad, and dead for a while. It doesn't work, and it only causes bad things to happen. I don't use scrapebox or xrumer, it's not effective anymore.

Citations need to be identical. If some have a website, then they all need the website. Forum profile links are bad enough, and the citations in them would be seen as spammy at best.

Best thing to do, is go for the normal directories, not forums. ESPECIALLY if they are not niche related forums that the account is active in.

Frank usually shows up to spam or influence his own agenda which is a class or membership to not have to "cold call".

Not relevant to OP's question. Go find JD's or JK's cold calling threads and post it there. Might be kinda fun...

If the rest of the modern sales world is moving away from cold calling then there will be less static for me when I do
