Another way to use Craigslist for warm leads

If you are providing a web design, SEO, and similar business services, and use Craigslist for selling things used in business, you will have warm leads when the stuff sells and gets picked up or delivered.

Testing has shown while it doesn't work as well for larger companies, it works like a charm with smaller businesses.

A similar situation happened years ago when I was in electronics manufacturing and put out samples at a swap meet on a whim. That sample resulted in a customer who stayed with me for as long as I owned the business. The lifetime value of that customer probably approached $100K. And it was also a warm lead at that point.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I usually like to purchase something from the business that way I'm a customer. They talk to you different when your a customer =)

I've noticed the same thing in restaurants. call the decision maker while having a meal.
